Job summary

Bali Construction, Inc is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution on heavy civil, commercial, or underground utility projects in Southern California. You will mentor team, oversee project docs, coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal departments, and help manage budgets, safety, and schedules while growing your skills and advancing within the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience managing heavy civil, commercial, or underground utility projects.
• Proficient in SAGE 300, Windows 10, Office 365, Bluebeam, and B2W.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and supervise all assigned personnel, including Project Engineers.
• Establish performance goals and metrics for subordinates with input from the Project Manager.
• Provide regular feedback and clear guidance to the team.
• Develop preliminary project schedules and budgets with input from Superintendent and Foremen.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontractors as per Bali standards.
• Review and manage project expenses, invoices, and change orders.
• Ensure safety programs are followed and incidents are reviewed.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain concurrence on project schedules.
