Job summary

Bali Construction, Inc in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project planning, coordination, and execution while growing your skills. You will mentor and supervise project team, coordinate with project managers, manage correspondence, RFIs, submittals, and ensure compliance and safety across Pre-Construction, During Construction, and Post-Construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience managing heavy civil, commercial, or underground utility projects.
• Proficiency in SAGE 300, Windows 10, Office 365, Bluebeam, and B2W.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized under deadlines.
• Knowledge of contract management and prevailing wage regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and supervise all assigned personnel, including Project Engineers.
• Develop and issue project correspondence, RFIs, submittals, billings, and compliance documents.
• Coordinate pre-construction, estimating, and client scheduling activities.
• Monitor costs, update forecasted costs, and manage project safety program.
• Closeout tasks and finalize change orders.
