Job summary

True Zero Technologies is seeking a Jr. Cloud Security Engineer to help secure cloud infrastructure and support CI/CD pipelines onsite in Model, CO. You will work with developers and DevOps to deploy scalable cloud resources and strengthen security controls.

You will gain hands-on exposure to cloud monitoring, logs, and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, while documenting architectures and procedures for operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Foundational cloud knowledge across at least one major provider.
• Ability to write and maintain basic scripts in Python/PowerShell/Bash.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, Linux/Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deploying and configuring VMs, S3/Blob storage, and networking components (VPCs/subnets).
• Monitor system performance with AWS CloudWatch or Azure Monitor for high availability.
• Identify, document, and resolve minor infrastructure issues.
• Apply security best practices across cloud environments, including access controls and firewalls.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with developers and DevOps teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
