Job summary

IDEA Public Schools in Texas is seeking a dedicated Special Education teacher for the RISE program. You will adapt lessons, develop IEPs, and collaborate with families to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities include implementing state standards, tracking progress, and coordinating related services to ensure high achievement and smooth transitions. A Bachelor's degree and Texas Special Education certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid Texas Certification in Special Education is required.
• Experience in a Special Education classroom is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs for a caseload of students.
• Coordinate related services and track student progress.
• Communicate weekly with families about student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and school events.
