GlobalFoundries is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to a performance-tuning application for MIPS RISC-V microprocessors. You’ll gain hands-on experience with development, simulation, and data visualization while working under experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Education – Sophomore status at application time with relevant degree field.
• GPA minimum 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to software features, prototypes, tests, automation, and tooling improvements.
• Learn performance tuning for MIPS RISC-V microprocessors including front-end/back-end workflows and data visualization.
• Assist with debugging, testing, documentation, and enhancements to improve product quality and developer productivity.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, team meetings, and present progress to mentors.
