Job summary

Humboldt Park Health in Chicago seeks a RIS/PACS administrator to install, modify, and maintain the Radiology Information System and related PACS for multiple departments. You will ensure accurate imaging data capture, remote access for radiologists, and timely workflow support.

The role requires coordinating with radiologists and IT, managing upgrades, and maintaining data integrity across imaging workflows to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of similar experience required.
• 4+ years of similar experience preferred.
• Licensure and Certification as applicable must be maintained and verified.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the key resource for operation, design and improvement of RIS and PACS.
• Responds to system questions and information requests from user departments and radiologists.
• Trains users on new functions and upgrades; develops training materials and references.
• Supports management in identifying learning opportunities and schedules, and provides system usage reports.
• Monitors data security, integrity and efficiency; coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Leads initial planning and implementation of system expansions, upgrades and maintenance.
• Documents changes and coordinates with hospital staff, clinics and departments.
