Qualifications

• Knowledge of all aspects of right of way including acquisition, title, permitting, due diligence, public and community outreach
• Right of Way acquisition experience required
• Graduate of a college or university (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license may be required and driving a licensed vehicle could be necessary
• Drug screening and background check may be required

Responsibilities

• Working directly under the direction of the Right-of-Way Lead or Supervisor
• Working under tight deadlines using analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Identifying property ownership and determining property valuations
• Obtaining permission from property owners for surveys
• Preparing documents necessary for acquisition of property rights
• Negotiating acquisition of property rights
• Acquiring necessary licensing and permits
• Reviewing progress of projects
• Relocation assistance
