ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt Right of Way Agent to work on projects in the New York Metropolitan area. The candidate must reside in the region and will primarily work at the ORC office in Manhattan, with some remote work possible depending on field activities and office needs. Expenses and mileage are reimbursed based on travel requirements.

What you will be doing:
You will provide relocation assistance services in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 and project guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing real estate documents, conducting property research, communicating with property owners, and performing administrative tasks such as preparing legal documents, reports, and correspondence. Future duties may involve property acquisition and supporting projects in NYC boroughs and surrounding areas.

Employees must avoid conflicts of interest and activities that impair objectivity, including performing services for clients during nonworking hours that overlap with ORC's work, such as real estate sales.
Physical Requirements: Proficiency in English, ability to communicate clearly, repetitive hand movements due to computer use, long hours at a computer screen, ability to move within the office, and occasional outdoor travel to meet clients or vendors, sometimes in varied weather conditions.
