Job summary

Lifting Gear Hire Corp in Arlington, TX is seeking a mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to service rental equipment and ensure immediate availability for safe use. You will inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble and test a range of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic gear. Position is full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

with overtime possible. Requires a High School Diploma, valid driver’s license, and DOT certification on start; benefits include holidays,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• DOT certification required upon commencement (LGH expense); certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspections.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand operated, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and timely.
