Job Title: Rigging and Crane Operator

STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Caldwell, ID

Department: Mechanical Integration

Reports to: Mechanical Integration Manager

Job Summary:

This role involves the movement of heavy machinery and placement of products within the yard to facilitate assembly of generator units. It requires high attention to detail, effective communication, and adherence to safety guidelines. Opportunities exist to rotate into other roles such as Engine preparation, Tank preparation, and Finish. We are experiencing growth and are excited to expand our team.

Who You Are:

• Strong communication skills and awareness of surroundings during movement
• Capable of working under pressure and maintaining composure
• Skilled in maintaining a safe perimeter and signaling crane operators
• Proficient in driving forklifts
• Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift 50lbs
• Capable of working in all weather conditions

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shackles for lifting with chains or straps
• Operate lifts for roof access using harnesses
• Assist in loading units onto transport trucks with proper rigging
• Maintain communication with crane operators
• Follow safety guidelines diligently
• Collaborate on adjustments to installation or preparation plans
• Install generator and fuel system components
• Install exhaust flexes

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with rigging and crane operation preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Effective time management and adaptability
• Ability to wear PPE and ensure safety at all times
• Reliable attendance and respectful attitude
