Job summary

Amentum at Kennedy Space Center is seeking personnel to support ground systems through rigging, safety, and compliance responsibilities. The role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to interpret instructions and schematics.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the willingness to obtain necessary certifications. This is a team-oriented environment with overtime and potential shift work.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and three years related experience.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring your personal safety, the safety of co-workers and customers is a primary duty.
• Supporting various groups by rigging: including scaffolding, pick-boards, spider staging equipment, and fall protection.
• Knowledgeable of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations to safely rig and move objects.
• Work from written, electronic or verbal instructions, blueprints, diagrams, schematics, vendor manuals and applicable specifications and codes.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications, licenses, permits, etc. to operate various types of equipment to include forklifts, aerial platforms.
• Maintain logs, records, charts, etc., as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
