MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a skilled Rigger for machinery moving and rigging on project sites in Salisbury, MA. The role involves setting up rigging, securing heavy loads, and coordinating with teams to safely relocate equipment.

Applicants should have a HS diploma, the ability to read schematics, and a valid driver’s license. CDL endorsements may be required for certain projects; relocation support is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to take direction and closely follow instruction.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals as required.
• Familiar with hand or flag signals and safe work practices.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL and/or endorsements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble, or disassemble rigging based on weight, size, and area of movement.
• Inspect and test rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Communicate with workers to coordinate hoisting and moving loads.
• Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts when required.
• Assist in fabrication, setup, and repair of rigging and supporting structures.
