Qualifications

• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves for loads.
• Attach pulley and blocks to overhead structures with bolts and clamps.
• Attach load to crane hook using grappling devices.
• Give directions to Crane Operator to ensure safety.
• Set up and rig hoisting equipment.
• Splice rope and wire cables.
• Coordinate equipment movement using visual signals.
• Recognize and respond to dangerous conditions.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Significant travel may be required.
