Job summary

ProLift Rigging, a private industrial construction company, seeks qualified individuals to join our rigging team in Dickinson, ND. This role involves aligning and anchoring cranes, assembling rigging gear, and moving materials in tight spaces.

Candidates must have strong mechanical reasoning, be able to travel, and pass drug and background checks. OSHA 10 is a plus, with comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health coverage, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent mechanical reasoning.
• Good perception of weights, measurement, and balance.
• Must be flexible with schedule, able to travel, and able to work overtime.
• Must pass a drug test, fit for duty assessment, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Aligns, levels, and anchors cranes and equipment.
• Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Cleans and dresses machine surfaces and parts.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through confined spaces.
• Dismantles, maintains, and stores rigging equipment.
• Moves materials using rigging lines and hoists.
• Selects gears, cables, and shackles according to load and schedule.
• Signals or directs workers during hoisting to ensure safety.
• Tests rigging for safety and reliability before use.
• Completes ProLift-specific, regulatory, and equipment training.
