Job summary

HMG is seeking a qualified Rigger in Silverdale, WA to safely move and install heavy equipment using rigging systems. The role requires NCCER/NCCCO certification, forklift cert, and crane experience. You will coordinate with teams, direct crane operators, and ensure all gear is inspected and certified prior to use.

Experience with various cranes and rigging components is essential. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive hourly compensation and potential for additional duties

Qualifications

• Valid NCCER or NCCCO rigging certificate required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of crane experience.
• Knowledge of rigging components and crane operations.
• Ability to perform basic math and metric conversions.
• Understanding of crane signals and various crane operations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble rigging to lift and move equipment using wire ropes and slings.
• Direct crane operators with hand signals to ensure safety.
• Test and certify rigging gear per regulations.
• Move material with forklifts and coordinate with teams.
• Inspect equipment and ensure certification before use.
