- Complete assigned tasks safely by wearing all required PPE and adhering to all safety standards of the company, customer, and regulatory groups.

- Identify processes to be completed at the shop and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Communicate with supervisors, customers, or representatives to coordinate job aspects and ensure continuity.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Review work package details such as technical info, drawings, manuals, etc.
- Handle and position large structural, mechanical, and electrical assemblies.
- Set up temporary and permanent staging.
- Perform functional and load tests on shipboard mooring and lifting components.
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly; seek assistance for heavier weights.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow safety guidelines and standards including NAVSEA, US Coast Guard, ASME, OSHA, and others.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Work at heights and in environments with fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise.
- Regularly use hands for handling and reaching.
- Perform physical activities such as stooping, bending, squatting, climbing, and crawling.
Experience Requirements
- 3rd Class: 1-3 years of shipyard rigging experience.
- 2nd Class: 2-4 years of shipyard rigging experience.
- 1st Class: 4-5 years of shipyard rigging experience.
Other Requirements
- Pass drug and work ability screenings.
- Obtain a government security clearance.
