Job summary

Quail Tools LP. in Odessa, TX is seeking a skilled technician to service, repair, and operate hydraulic and pneumatic handling equipment used on offshore and onshore rigs. You will provide technical guidance and support to rig operations utilizing these systems.

The role requires travel to rig locations, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow QA/HSE policies. You must be able to communicate effectively with crew and inspectors and be available for on-call scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic handling equipment.
• Ability to travel to rig locations as required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and on-call schedule.
• Excellent communication with crew and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide rig-based technical support for hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Ensure rig hydraulic/pneumatic lines and systems are compatible with Workstrings equipment.
• Provide guidance on function testing and operation of Workstrings equipment.
• Provide shop support for maintenance, repair, and testing of hydraulic equipment.
• Move, load, and organize company equipment and accessories.
• Travel to rig locations as needed and comply with QA & HSE policies.
• Other duties as assigned by superiors.
