Job summary

Superior Energy Services seeks a skilled technician to service, repair, and operate hydraulic and pneumatic handling equipment across offshore and onshore rigs. You will provide technical guidance, shop and field support, and ensure proper testing and operation of Workstrings systems.

Ideal candidates will travel to rig locations, follow QA & HSE policies, and maintain equipment inventory. Strong communication with rig personnel and on-call availability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Provide rig-based technical support for hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Able to travel to rig locations and be on-call per schedule.
• Capable of operating in field environments and meeting physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide rig-based technical support for hydraulic/pneumatic equipment (backsaver, slips, bowls, bushings and hydraulic elevators).
• Ensure rig hydraulic/pneumatic lines and systems are compatible with Workstrings equipment.
• Provide rig guidance on proper function testing and running of Workstrings equipment.
• Provide shop support for maintenance, repair, and testing of Workstrings hydraulic equipment.
• Maintain shop condition and general appearance.
• Organize, repair, and maintain equipment used to service or process rental product accessories.
• Assist in verifying inventory counts and locations of rental product accessories.
• Load, unload, and move company equipment.
• Service rental product accessories both received and in preparation for rental.
• Must be available to travel to and from rig locations at any time.
• Follow established QA & HSE policies and procedures.
• Other related duties as assigned by superiors.
