Job summary

West Penn Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Swamper to assist with loading, unloading, and moving rig equipment at active job sites. You will work closely with drivers and crew to ensure safe operations and proper handling of frac fleet gear.

Responsibilities include organizing rigging equipment, guiding equipment operators, and performing safety checks while supporting mobilizations and fleet moves. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as swamper or in an oil & gas field role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of rigging equipment and load handling is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, and securing rig moving equipment.
• Act as a ground guide for equipment operators during transport and staging.
• Organize and inspect rigging equipment and supplies.
• Support rigging operations by staging and delivering needed gear.
• Use tag lines to stabilize loads during lifting operations.
• Assist with mobilizations, demobilizations, and fleet moves.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report safety concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and tools.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with crew for safe operations.
