Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking an entry-level Rig Hand I to support the maintenance and day-to-day operation of service rigs across the West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania region. You will work under the Rig Foreman to safely perform plugging and general rig tasks.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and physical endurance, with training provided. This position requires travel to remote well sites and a readiness to operate in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to travel to remote well sites and stay away from home.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of plugging rigs.
• Safely handle drilling tools and equipment.
• Rig up and rig down equipment for plugging/abandonment tasks.
• Conduct daily checks and inspections of rig equipment and tools.
• Work with rig crew members to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and trainings.
• Perform routine maintenance on rig equipment.
