Job summary

Axis Energy Services is seeking a Floor Hand to join a 4-5 person workover rig crew in Snyder, TX. You will assist with rigging up and down, handling rods, tubing, and casing, and operate essential rig tools. Safety and adherence to procedures are required.

The role requires English communication, physical fitness for 12-hour shifts, and the ability to travel as needed. A valid driver’s license and pre-employment drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Basic oilfield well servicing experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year rig floor operation experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rigging up and down the well service rig.
• Set hydraulic jacks and attach guy wires to the anchor.
• Operate rig tools (rod wrenches, tongs, elevators) during servicing.
• Lift and handle tubing, rods, and other components as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized pipe deck and rig areas.
• Report hazards or maintenance issues to the Rig Supervisor.
