Job summary

Axis Energy Services in Oklahoma seeks a Floor Hand to join a 4-5 person workover rig crew on an oil and gas well service rig. You will assist with rigging up and down, handle tubing and casing, and support the Rig Supervisor to keep operations safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of rig floor experience, a High School diploma, and a valid driver license. You must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, work 12‑hour shifts on a 14/7 rotation, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year rig floor operation experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work long shifts.
• Work outdoors in field conditions and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Assist operator in rigging up and down the well service rig.
• Line up the rig with the well and set hydraulic jacks.
• Operate rod wrenches, tongs and rig tools during operations.
• Assist in lifting and handling tubing, rods, and casing.
• Maintain tools and clean as required; report hazards to supervisor.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
