Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. is seeking a Floor Hand to join a 4-5 person workover rig crew in Bryan, TX.

You will assist with rigging up and down, pulling and laying down rods, tubing and casing, and operate rod wrenches and elevators during well servicing, following safety procedures at all times. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, 12-hour shifts, and the ability to work in all weather conditions on oilfield sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic oilfield well servicing experience.
• Minimum 1 year rig floor operation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must be able to work a varied rotational schedule and travel as required.
• Work may be in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. per person or with mechanical aid.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screens required.

Responsibilities

• Assist operator in rigging up and down and align with the well.
• Operate rod wrenches, tongs, elevators, and other rig tools during well servicing.
• Assist in lifting and laying down tubing, rods, and casing.
• Maintain rig equipment and keep deck areas orderly and safe.
• Report safety hazards and ensure compliance with company procedures.
