Job summary

Axis Energy Services is hiring a Floor Hand in Odessa, TX, to support a 4-5 person workover rig crew.

Responsibilities include rigging up/down, handling rods/tubing, and ensuring safety and compliance while meeting customer expectations. Minimum qualification: high school diploma or GED; 1 year rig floor experience; ability to lift up to 75 lbs; valid driver license. Local candidates preferred within 60 miles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic oilfield well servicing experience.
• Minimum 1 year rig floor operation experience.
• Valid state driver license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rigging up and rigging down the well service rig.
• Set hydraulic jacks and attach guy wires as directed.
• Operate rod wrenches, tongs and elevators during operations.
• Lift and move tubing/rods as required.
• Maintain tools and keep rig areas orderly and safe.
• Report safety hazards to the Rig Supervisor.
