Job summary

Alltech is seeking a Utility Operator for our Flemingsburg, KY plant. You will learn and operate production processes and the batching system to produce low moisture blocks, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to read procedures. Forklift experience and strong teamwork are a plus. Pre-employment drug screen and background check apply.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team in a Utility Operator role at our plant in Flemingsburg, KY.

This full-time position will learn the operation of the different processes in the production area along with operating the batching system for our low moisture blocks.

Qualifications/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Committed to work in a safe environment and follow OSHA standards
• Basic maintenance skills
• Be able to read and follow procedures
• Complete required paperwork and data entry
• Good computer and math skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Feed mill experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Work in natural climate conditions
• Climb ladders and be physically active throughout the shift
