Job summary

Alltech’s Ridley Feed Ingredients facility in Mendota, IL seeks qualified candidates for General Production on 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm) and 3rd shift (10:00 pm–6:30 am). You will operate manufacturing and packaging equipment, helping ensure efficiency, safety and product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and follow procedures, and basic computer and math skills.

General Production (2 nd & 3 rd shift) – Mendota, IL

Ridley Feed Ingredients, an Alltech company, specializes in thoroughly researched, competitively priced micro feed ingredients, vitamin and mineral premixes, and feed additives. Our customers include regional manufacturers, distributors, wholesales, and large livestock and poultry producers. We are seeking candidates to join our team on both 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) and 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am).

This position is assigned to operate equipment within established guidelines for efficiency, safety, and product quality. The equipment will vary and include manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Qualifications/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to work in a quickly changing/fast paced environment
• Be able to read and follow procedures
• Complete required paperwork
• Good computer and math skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Work in natural climate conditions
• Climb ladders, stairs and be physically active throughout the shift
• Forklift experience is a plus

Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check is required.
