Job summary

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Lab Technician at our Springfield, KY facility.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that proper procedures are followed at all times.
• To perform all necessary and specified laboratory assays in accordance with procedures and specifications as needed.
• Adhere to and follow GMP and GLP guidelines.
• Record and properly document all testing and calibrations performed in the appropriate notebook, sheet, and/or computer program.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner at all times.
• Maintain stock levels of laboratory supplies and testing materials.
• Additional duties and functions may be assigned by manager, when deemed necessary.
• To train new employees in the Alltech Quality System.
• Adhere to and follow GMP and GLP guidelines.
• To aid in producing and maintaining training records.
• To perform all necessary and specified audits in accordance with ISO, GMP, RUPP, FSMA, HACCP, and AQS regulations.
• Review records as needed to ensure necessary data is being captured and that this data is an accurate reflection of procedure.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field required.
• Be able to multi task.
• Work independently.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to be flexible and analytical.
