Job summary

Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT is seeking a Full-time Rides Maintenance Technician to keep amusement rides safe and operating. You will diagnose, repair, and refurbish equipment on designated rides, performing preventative maintenance and testing to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1-2 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints. A valid driver's license and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints.
• Fluent English reading and writing; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of attractions and facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Follow manufacturers’ requirements and safety protocols.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and complete repair work orders.
