Job summary

Palace Entertainment's Lake Compounce in Connecticut is hiring a full-time Aquatic Maintenance Technician to keep waterslides and pools safe and running. You will perform preventative maintenance, test water quality, diagnose issues, and repair mechanical systems while adhering to health codes.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in maintenance or mechanics, and waterpark experience is preferred, with a CPO or ability to obtain within 90 days where required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in maintenance or mechanics preferred.
• 1-2 years experience at a waterpark, swimming pool, or aquatics facility is preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or ability to obtain within 90 days when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-opening inspections of waterslides and pools.
• Maintain water quality and chemical balance per health codes.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues; respond to trouble calls.
• Complete repairs and preventive maintenance; keep areas clean and safe.
