Palace Entertainment’s Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT seeks a Full-time Rides Maintenance Technician to modify, repair, and refurbish amusement ride equipment. The role includes preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring safe, continuous ride operation to enhance guest satisfaction.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, 1–2 years in maintenance, and strong mechanical/electrical knowledge. Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 1–2 years of maintenance or mechanics experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-opening inspections of rides and property.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical issues on rides and equipment.
• Respond to trouble calls with urgency to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance, painting, HVAC cleaning, and basic repairs as required by manufacturers.
• Schedule repairs and installations to ensure continuous park operations.
• Utilize PPE and maintain clean, safe workspaces and storage areas.
• Keep leadership informed of corrective issues and complete repair work orders promptly.
