Job summary

Universal Kids Resort is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to service and repair ride vehicles, following OEM specifications and safety standards. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive, corrective, and annual maintenance, and complete work orders across central services functions including welding, painting, fiberglass, hydraulics, and fabrication.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
2+ years in fiberglass repair/maintenance, automotive paint, mechanics, welding, hydraulics or general shop work.

Responsibilities

Performs disassembly and repairs on ride vehicles during annual inspections, ensuring quality control and NDT requirements.
Creates work orders for discrepancies and follows inventory procedures.
Identifies mechanical deficiencies and recommends corrective actions to reduce costs and downtime.
Documents findings and labor in Maximo; reports progress and maintains records.
Performs repairs to improve ride reliability and show quality per specifications.
Completes PQS qualification for assigned annuals; trains new Technicians.
Participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per policy.
