Herschend Family Entertainment operates Dutch Wonderland and many other attractions. The Rides Operator role focuses on guest interaction, safe ride operation, and strict adherence to regulations.

Training includes iROC certification and ongoing safety protocols to ensure memorable experiences for guests of all ages. Team members must be safety-minded, reliable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a high-energy park environment.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Must complete iROC course during training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a fun and professional manner.
• Operate and supervise rides in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform morning inspections and test rides before opening to guests.
• Ensure loading procedures meet height/weight/age requirements and safety restraints are secure.
• Report ride issues promptly to maintenance and management.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and guest directions via microphone or devices.
