Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for Ride Mechanical Maintenance. The role oversees park maintenance policies, budgets, and safety standards while leading a team to ensure top reliability and safety of rides.

The candidate must manage multiple tasks, ensure compliance with state and county codes, and be available for varied shifts including weekends and holidays. A California driver license is required to operate within park facilities.

Qualifications

5–10 years maintenance management experience.
Able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Knowledge of state and county codes.
Valid California Driver License.
Must be a team player and able to delegate tasks and duties.
Full availability for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Oversee implementation of park and dept. policies and procedures.
Maintain documentation of training certifications, maintenance and safety standards, requisitions, etc.
Develop and maintain area operating budget, including daily operation and rehab projects.
Supervise department employees: daily work assignments, scheduling, commendation, discipline, etc.
Ensure rides are maintained to high levels of quality, reliability and safety.
Regularly serve as duty manager for the department.
