Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation seeks a Level II Ride Control Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and upgrade ride control systems for safe operations. You will order parts, update software, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure safety standards.

Strong problem solving, safety focus, and a background in electrical maintenance are essential. The role requires 18+ and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and holidays, in a fast-paced theme park environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of related experience in industrial electrical maintenance or an equivalent combination.
• Themed amusement park experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to climb and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and evaluates rides for proper function and responds to daily trouble calls.
• Orders parts for maintaining ride control systems.
• Ensures rides comply with manufacturer, Six Flags, and state guidelines for safety.
• Maintains and updates ride control software and documentation.
• Coordinates with other departments and may oversee outside contractors.
• Attends trainings to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
