A leading interpreting service provider is seeking American Sign Language Interpreters for assignments in the Mariposa, CA area. Candidates must possess an Associate or Bachelor degree, RID certification, and fluency in both English and American Sign Language. Interpreters are allowed flexibility to accept assignments based on their schedule while being expected to commit to those accepted. Overview:

Language Services Associates is looking for American Sign Language interpreters in the Mariposa, CA area. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities:

·Provide superior customer service

·Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality

· Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

·Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients

· Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner

· Access to personal or public transport

Qualifications/Experience:

·Associate or bachelor's degree

·RID certification

·State interpreting licensure (as applicable)

·Fluency in English and American Sign Language
