A leading company is seeking American Sign Language Interpreters in the Redding, CA area. This role offers independent contractor opportunities, enabling interpreters to negotiate competitive fees based on their experience and credentials. Successful candidates will have the ability to manage their schedules while gaining access to a variety of assignments in medical and mental health contexts.

Formación

• RID certification required.
• State’s QA equivalent level certification required.
• Proof of license or registration required.

Responsabilidades

• Commit to accepted assignments and arrive onsite as scheduled.
• Handle challenging assignments and enhance industry experience.
• Access web-based invoicing platform for assignments.

Conocimientos

Fluency in English

Fluency in American Sign Language

Knowledge of interpreting ethics

Experience in medical settings

Overview:

Language Services Associates is looking for American Sign Language interpreters in the Redding, CA area. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities:

·Provide superior customer service

·Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality

· Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

·Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients

· Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner

· Access to personal or public transport

Qualifications/Experience:

·Associate or bachelor's degree

·RID certification

·State interpreting licensure (as applicable)

·Fluency in English and American Sign Language
