Candidates should have a degree and RID certification along with state QA equivalent credentials. Qualifications

• Candidates must have RID certification.
• Required state quality assurance equivalent level certification.
• Proof of required License or Registration is mandatory.

• Utilize web-based invoicing platform for assignments.

Overview:

Language Services Associates is looking for American Sign Language interpreters in the Newark, DE area. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities:

·Provide superior customer service

·Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality

· Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

·Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients

· Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner

· Access to personal or public transport

Qualifications/Experience:

·Associate or bachelor's degree

·RID certification

·State interpreting licensure (as applicable)

·Fluency in English and American Sign Language
