Job summary

BridgePort Financial Solutions is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development to drive and execute its acquisition growth strategy in the Fee Only RIA marketplace. Reporting to the SVP, the role focuses on sourcing, screening, and managing M&A opportunities and guiding the integration of RIAs.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, with 5+ years in M&A, corporate development, or wealth-management strategy, and a track record of building durable partnerships

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, recruiting, or business strategy in the retail RIA/wealth management channel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential acquisition leads in the Fee Only RIA marketplace through outreach, referrals and networking.
• Evaluate RIAs via screening and due diligence to assess alignment with BridgePort’s goals.
• Build relationships with decision-makers, influencers and financial professionals to support growth.
• Represent BridgePort at industry events to promote brand and acquisition pipelines.
• Drive integration and onboarding strategies with acquired RIAs and internal teams.
• Maintain acquisition records in CRM and prepare leadership updates on pipeline status.
