Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions is looking for Optometry Technicians to provide dental exams and treatment to Military Service members. The position involves working primarily on weekends in Arkansas, assisting with patient care and optical machinery operations.

The ideal candidate must have over a year of experience and be skilled in visual fields, OCTs, and Fundus Photography. A strong computer background is also required. This role ensures high standards of care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an optometric or ophthalmic technician.
• Must have experience performing visual fields, OCTs, and Fundus Photography.
• Must have own transportation for site traveling.

Responsibilities

• Helping the optometrist with procedures and patient care.
• Taking patient histories and maintaining the patient records system.
• Assisting patients to select a suitable frame for their glasses.
• Demonstrating care and maintenance of lenses to patients.
• Repairing minor issues with broken and damaged eyeglasses.
• Keeping the office organized and presentable.
• Testing visual acuity, depth perception, pressure, and pupil reflexes.

Attention all Optometry Technicians: you are invited to work with us providing dental exams and treatment to Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of AR on an as‑needed basis.

This position will work directly with patients, operate optical machinery, and interface with patient‑care software.
