Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• Knowledge of nursing processes and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic comfort and support; involve patients in care.
• Identify and respond to emergencies; initiate interventions.
• Triage patient phone calls and schedule appointments as needed.
• Obtain patient medical history, vitals and current concerns at initial visits.
• Perform injections and assist physicians with procedures.
• Provide rheumatology education and referrals; manage orders and labs.
• Review lab results daily and contact patients with abnormal results.
• Document care plans and adjust as needed; ensure safe environment.
