The role is primarily outpatient with some inpatient consults, focusing on management of soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases, teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and contributing to scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in California.
• Experience managing soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases.
• Skilled in biological therapy and ACR guidelines; understand drug interactions.
• Experience teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient-based faculty position with some inpatient consult responsibilities.
• Interact with University Residency and Fellowship program.
• Manage soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases; contribute to scholarly activities.
