The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Clinical Immunology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in Rheumatology.

This position is primarily outpatient based, with some inpatient consult responsibilities and will involve teaching and scholarly activity, with collaboration across the residency and

Qualifications

• M.D. or equivalent degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in California.
• Experience in managing soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases to provide excellent clinical care.
• Knowledge of biological therapies and ACR guidelines; understanding of drug interactions.
• Experience in teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient focus with some inpatient consults.
• Engage in teaching, professional competence and scholarly activities.
• Interact with residency and fellowship programs; contribute to clinical care.
