The role emphasizes outpatient rheumatology care with some inpatient consults, and collaboration with Residency and Fellowship programs.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in CA.
• Experience in managing soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases.
• Skilled in biological therapy and ACR guidelines; understands drug interactions.
• Experience in teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• primarily outpatient-based care with some inpatient consult responsibilities.
• Interact with the University Residency and Fellowship program.
• Engage in teaching, professional competence, scholarship or creative activity, and public service.
