University of California, Davis, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Clinical Immunology, is recruiting for a full‑time Health Sciences Clinical Professor series position at Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank in Rheumatology.

Outpatient‑oriented with some inpatient consult duties, you will manage soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases while engaging in teaching, scholarly activity, and service.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of CA.
• Experience in management of soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases to provide excellent clinical care.
• Skilled in use of biological therapy and understanding ACR guidelines and drug interactions.
• Experience in teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient-based work with some inpatient consult responsibilities.
• Interact with University Residency and Fellowship programs.
• Provide clinical care for soft tissue rheumatism and autoimmune diseases.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly/creative activities and university/public service.
