Job summary

US Arthritis and Rheumatology Institute in Modesto, CA seeks a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join a rheumatology team. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, under the supervision of a rheumatologist.

You will perform joint injections, monitor therapies, and educate patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program.
• PA-C certification by NCCPA.
• Active state PA licensure required.
• CPR/BLS certification and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations with history, exams, and labs.
• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions (RA, lupus, gout).
• Administer biologics and DMARDs and perform joint procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with rheumatologist and healthcare team for patient care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle.
