The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic diseases under the supervision of a rheumatologist.

Ideal candidates hold a PA-C with NCCPA certification, have 1+ year rheumatology experience, and possess active PA licensure, CPR/BLS, and a DEA license.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the NCCPA.
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification and DEA license.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions.
• Administer and monitor biologic therapies and DMARDs.
• Perform joint injections and other rheumatology procedures.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with patient education.
• Collaborate with rheumatologist and medical team for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Stay current with rheumatology guidelines and research.
