Advanced Rheumatology of Houston in The Woodlands, Texas, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a private practice focused on rheumatology care. The NP will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and monitor patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, collaborating with an experienced rheumatologist to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current board certification as an FNP, ANP, or AGNP.
• Two years of rheumatology experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions such as RA, lupus, gout, OA and related diseases.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests and imaging.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and manage biologic therapies and DMARDs.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, meds, and long-term disease management.
• Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
