Job summary

University of Pittsburgh Physicians in Oakland, PA, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support the Rheumatology department. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Room patients, stock supplies, and maintain infection control between visits.
• Obtain lab/x-ray reports, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and manage charts.
• Assist front office responsibilities and provide patient education as directed.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and routine clinic procedures under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health rules.
