Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of first semester in an accredited nursing program or MA program is required or
• An active CMA, CMA, RMA, CNA, EMT, or Patient Care Technician certification may substitute for the education requirement
• Experience in an office or clinical setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote health and wellness.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to staff in a timely manner.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and record vital signs and measurements.
• Support infection prevention and standard precautions.
• Mentor new Medical Assistants and support students.
