Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing interventions to assigned patients per the medical plan of care using the nursing process.
• Schedules patients' appointments, tests, and procedures via online system.
• Provides patient education and documents patient responses in the medical record.
• Ensures appropriate patient consents and authorizations for research or medical treatment.
• Triages patient phone inquiries according to protocols and documents actions in medical records.
• Provides supervision and delegates tasks to licensed vocational nurses or support staff.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during exams and procedures.
• Prepares and administers medications as prescribed by physician.
